Finances

We are planning a detailed report of our annual budget before the end of our first year operating. As of February 2022, before launching our expenses were:

This will be updated monthly, inshAllah.

As of September 2022, we have earned back the initial expenses cost through sales of education books, and have a surplus of ~$2,000 that we will be utilizing to develop further educational materials. Currently our whole team is volunteers, with no one drawing a salary.

Upcoming: We have invested in a license to track all our finances utilizing QuickBooks and are onboarding a new finance expert volunteer to work with to provide a detailed budget report before the end of the year.

Reports

We plan to have a more detailed annual report to share widely upon the anniversary of our launch of activities, in the Spring of 2023. We hope to ensure that report measures our operations against best practice standard for non profit governance and operations.
